FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar, and more specifically to radar surveillance systems based on multichannel on-board pulse Doppler radar. The proposed method involves measurement of a reflected signal in range resolution cells and Doppler filters at the same time in Q measurement channels. The set of measurements is put in the measurement vector, which is processed and an evaluation vector is obtained, of the field amplitude of reflection in discretisation elements of the azimuth or angle of elevation. Angular coordinates of objects are found from the found sequence. The said operations are repeated for all elements of the range and frequency filters, and so angular coordinates of all objects in the radar surveillance area are determined.
EFFECT: measurement of angular coordinates an arbitrary number of ground-based and airborne objects, which cannot be resolved on range and Doppler frequency, in measurement error conditions.
