VOICE DEVELOPMENT AND SETTING TECHNIQUE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G09B15/00

Abstract RU 2361282 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to voice development and setting technique. In the beginning, voice setting involves anatomic, physiological and mental vocal components. The following operations are performed consistently: stomach is tuck in, larynx is relaxed so that to lower it downwards, and a short sniff ensures small breath, thereby causing high position of diaphragm and optimal pressure in bronchial system. With lowering larynx downwards, an empty space between tongue root and larynx is formed. Larynx is relieved to generate optimum junction of larynx and trachea. Trachea and larynx form a compound tube being a socket with its bottom presenting a sound source, and its funnel-like top being a sound conductor. With lowering larynx downwards, the space connecting larynx and trachea is increased and unobstructed sound passage is provided from within. Two interconnected and controlled extensions of the compound tube is performed including larynx and jaws. The primary extension involves larynx with jaw arranged therefor. It causes simultaneous sounding of chest and head resonators. Phonation aspiration, exhalation delay phonation, air relief after phrase end with a simultaneous short sniff are carried out automatically.

EFFECT: improved acoustic effectiveness of phonation apparatus, increased acoustic power, improved voice timber characteristics.
