SUBSTANCE: according to invention, there is offered method of managing information for ensuring record medium copyprotection. Dataflow, encrypted using copyprotection information, is recorded on the record media data storage area. Copyprotection information and disk drive identifying code are recorded together on the optical disk area for safe key storage. In playing media it is controlled if disk drive identifying code recorded on the safe key storage area complies with the disk drive identifying code with media placed in.
EFFECT: depending on control results copyprotection information is read and decoded or media playing is stopped.
