FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: shredding drum consists of cutters, gathered into discs two by two pairs in each and rigidly joined with hollow arbor. Cutters in discs are located evenly circumferential after 90°. Discs on hollow arbor are turned for 30° and located at a distance relative to each other. Cutters are implemented plane and allows shape of side profile, formed by two arcs of radius, equal to radius of circle of location of its shirttail. Such structural implementation will provide reduction of process energy intensity and to prevent development of erosion processes ensured by reduction of shattering grade of soil.
