FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical instruments. Manual holder contains in front part chuck made with possibility of firm clutching of tail of removable instrument installed in guiding openings. Holder contains two or several branches connected with ring part of chuck by means of elastic hinges, each of which contains cam for instrument tail stopping. Preferably chuck branches are made in form of levers each of which contains support surface moved away from cam, on which stopping mechanism acts with force multiplied by lever. Stopping mechanism contains sliding coupling containing internal conic surface acting with said force on chuck levers through balls. Balls of unlocking mechanism are guided in helical slots containing flexible side catch which holds mechanism in stopping position by fastening.
EFFECT: ensuring possibility to use weaker spring or even do without said spring and eliminate drawbacks of known technical solutions by firm stopping at the level of cams of chuck and limiting axial efforts arising in stopping and unlocking mechanisms.
