FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: based on analysis of polymer composites moulding process, which consists in previous heating of thermoplastic to the temperature that is lower than temperature of its vitrification, further pressing, soaking at the pressure of 1500-2000 kgf/cm, justification was done for application of additional stage of short-term SHF heating of stock for increase of finished product strength under conditions of shear stresses. According to invention, prior to moulding, in non-heated mold with further soaking of finished product under pressure, stock of polymer carbon nanocomposite previously heated up to temperature that is 30-40°C lower than melt temperature is exposed to additional short-term SHF heating for 40-45 sec. Method applicability is proved experimentally for improvement of strength and quality of finished products surface from polymer carbon nanocomposites produced by method of solid phase moulding.
EFFECT: higher strength characteristics of products from polymer composites on the basis of nanocarbon materials.
