FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method for production of ceramic material based on lanthanum chromite includes preparation of reaction mixture of initial components, which contains lanthanum oxide and/or lanthanum, chrome oxide VI, calcium peroxide, aluminium, chrome, placement of mold of refractory material with reaction mixture in SHS reactor, mixture ignition with further reaction of its components in mode of combustion under pressure of gas medium of 0.2-10 MPa. Reaction mixture contains components in the following ratio, wt %: lanthanum oxide 5.0-55.0; chrome oxide VI 15.0-52.0; calcium peroxide 5.0-20.0; aluminium 1.0-5.0; chrome 3.0-12.0; lanthanum of not more than 55. Mold material is quartz, graphite and stainless steel, gas medium is air, nitrogen or argon. Between initial mixture and mold wall, functional layer is arranged from material selected from row including powder of lanthanum chromite, equimolar mixture of powders of chrome oxide III, lanthanum, aluminium and calcium, powder of target product.

EFFECT: simplified method for production of ceramic material based on lanthanum chromite, improved quality of material due to reduction of admixtures.
