FIELD: high- temperature non-metallic materials used for protective coats of resistive heat-generating elements working in oxidizing media. SUBSTANCE: refractory charge includes the following components, mas.%: Y2O3, 35-65; Al2O3, 15-37; La2O3, 3-14; B2O3, 1-9; MgO, 3-6; Cr2O3, 1-5; and SiO2, 1-4. Multi-component material obtained from refractory charge and used for production of coats includes crystalline phases at the following relationship, mas. %: yttrium oxide Y2O3, 45-65; aluminomagnesium spinel MgAl2O4, 10-20; lanthanum chromite LaCrO3, 3-15; mullite Al6Si2O13, 5-15; lanthanum aluminate LaAl11O18, 5-15; and boron oxide B2O3, 1-9. EFFECT: increased service life of heat generating elements with coat; enhanced resistance to thermal cycling; enhanced stability of functional properties of material obtained from refractory charge due to reduction of its vaporability to 10-7-10-8 g/(sq.cm.h). 3 cl, 3 tbl, 6 ex
