FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: initial salt solution is electrolysed thereby obtaining a solution, containing electrolysis products, to which a liquid agent is added, and further electrolysis is carried out. The liquid agent used is an aqueous salt solution, dilute with respect to the initial solution.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption in carrying out electrolysis, while providing for high output of desired product.
