FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite, which includes electrolysis of aqueous sodium chloride solution in flow cell with unseparated anode and cathode spaces, electrolysis is initial water solution of sodium chloride, followed by electrolysis of obtained electrolyte when diluted with water and is taken as target product produced during electrolysis of aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite. Method is characterised by that electrolysis process when diluted electrolyte water is carried out by controlling value of its pH monitoring change in pH of electrolyte and aqueous sodium hypochlorite solution with preset pH after during monitoring of pH of electrolyte are tendency to decrease its value.

EFFECT: using presented method enables production of aqueous solutions of sodium hypochlorite with different preset values pH while ensuring high degree of conversion of initial salt and high output of sodium hypochlorite.
