FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil and gas industry, notably, to inflated packers. It contains a packer mandrel, a packing element and a swelling material. The packing element is assembled over the packer mandrel; there is a circular gap between the packing element and the mandrel. The material is placed in the circular gap and is designed to capture at least part of medium supplied into the circular gap between the swelling material and the packing element.
EFFECT: facilitates maintaining tightness after expanding regardless of damage or change of conditions in well.
