FIELD: electrical power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering and can be used for generating electrical energy. The said wind-driven electric plant contains rotor-type drum windwheels, put into cylindrical shells with air diffusers, and a generator. The windwheels are mounted on a horizontal shaft and are fitted on vertical supports. The horizontal shaft is attached on two sides to the vertical supports and has flanges at the ends, on which are rigidly attached inner rims of the windwheels, which are situated on two sides of a revolving tower, on which is fitted a horizontal case. The generator rotor is mounted in the middle part of the horizontal shaft, and the generator stator on the inner part of the horizontal case, mounted on the tower. Supports are rigidly joined to the revolving tower and are provided with roller wheels, which interact with a circular rail, laid down on a fixed base.
EFFECT: invention increases energy efficiency of an air stream and reliability of operation.
