SEGMENT-TYPE WINDMILL Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC F03D9/00

Abstract RU 2334895 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind-power engineering and can be used for power production. The segment-type windmill incorporates a tower, windwheel with a horizontal shat, a generator and a rotary base. The said tower is made up of rods forming triangles with a common side whereto a hub assembly with the windwheel shaft is attached, the windwheel shaft being furnished with the blades. The rotary base and hub assembly are jointed together by rods. The windwheel blades carry rotor elements in magnetic contact with the stator elements, the rods jointing the rotary base to hub assembly being furnished with the stator elements.

EFFECT: reduced weight and sixes, possibility of adjusting rotary velocity of rotor and stator elements arranged on windwheel rotation radius.
