FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to miniature solid-state wave gyro that serves to measure angular velocity of moving objects. SSWG represents solid-state wave inertial module fitted and fixed in evacuated metal casing. It comprises rigidly interconnected hemispherical resonator and pick-up/excitation p.c.b. made from quartz glass, their surfaces being subjected to metallisation. Electronic system controls the SSWG operation and comprises microprocessor that excites resonator oscillations in required operating conditions, measures, converts and processes azimuthal data read off the resonator oscillating enclosure.

EFFECT: improved operating performances, reduced development terms and costs.
