SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of solid-state wave gyroscopes. Method of determining the mass imbalance of the hemispherical resonator of a solid-state wave gyroscope further comprises the steps of measuring the response in the support at the point of attachment of the resonator, and the mathematical processing of the signal consists in determining the magnitude of the amplitude and the angular position of the oscillations relative to the excitation sensors, calculated using the formula, where a1 is the amplitude of the signal from the first piezoelectric sensor, a2 is the amplitude of the signal from the second piezoelectric sensor, a3 is the amplitude of the signal from the third piezoelectric sensor, A is the oscillation amplitude; where ϕ – the angular position of the oscillations of the legs relative to the excitation sensors.

EFFECT: technical result – improving the accuracy of determining the defects of the resonator.
