SUBSTANCE: method for regulating of thermal or calorimetric flow metre (1), which determines and/or controls flow of measured media (3) coming through pipeline (2) or measuring tube (2) by means of two temperature sensors (11, 12); at that actual temperature (Tj) of measured media (3) at instant of time (ti) is determined by the first temperature sensor (12). Certain heating power is supplied to the other temperature sensor (11); heating power is proportioned so that set difference (θtarget) of temperatures occurs between both temperature sensors (11, 12). Heating power (Qi+1) supplied to heated temperature sensor is determined in case of deviation (θtarge-θi) of measured actual difference of temperatures (θi) from set temperature difference (θtarget) for set status in the next instant of time (ti+1). Heating power (Qi+1) is determined with consideration of physical conditions of process, which are reflected in time constant (τ).
EFFECT: fast and stable regulation of thermal flow metre at different conditions of the process.
