FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: current transducer (Rogovsky's induction belt) represents toroidal coil wound on insulation carcass arranged in circular groove of one of working electrodes incorporated with HV unit of power transmission line covers by metal cap. Proposed device differs from known design in that aforesaid metal cap is isolated from working electrode and connected thereto via capacitive load. Note also, that resistive and capacitive loads are located outside working electrode, in separate additional shields. Both aforesaid loads are connected, via common cable, to one recorder.
EFFECT: expanded data possibilities, higher accuracy of determining power generated in nonlinear loads.
