FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly to the technology of making electrical machines, more specifically their magnetic cores. Proposed is a method of making a magnetic core of an electrical machine, involving obtaining annular work pieces by winding onto a mandrel tape with thickness less than 0.08 mm from amorphous soft magnetic material, cutting parts from the tape and aligning them such that, the main magnetic flux passes through sides of the parts, formed by edges of the tapes, and tapes, forming these parts are mainly parallel each other.
EFFECT: provision for accuracy of the working nonmagnetic gap of the electrical machine with simultaneous reduction of the cost of manufacturing and assembling the magnetic core.
