FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic screen consists of interconnected parts in the form of rolls of a soft magnetic tape, the winding axis of which is perpendicular to the end surfaces, wherein the inner cavity of the magnetic screen is formed by flat sections of the rolls and axially shifted turns of the tape.
EFFECT: increased screening factor and reduced losses when working in strong variable fields.
