FIELD: telecommunication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication technology and can be used in transmission systems, communication cables of which can be damaged by ionising radiations, high mechanical loads or effect of other external factors, which lower quality of communication or destroy communication lines, as well as in cases where there is great need for detecting and foiling attempts at unauthorised access (UAA). For this purpose the transmitting equipment contains a scrambling device and an inhibitor circuit, which cuts off transmission of an information signal when an attempt at unauthorised access is detected, through evaluation of error rate in the signal; an unscrambling device is included in the reception equipment.
EFFECT: increased reliability of communication lines in conditions of possible emergency situations, in case of detection of attempts at unauthorised access - provision for operating personnel taking necessary measures to foil the attempt.
