FIELD: communication devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication systems and can be used in designing devices with sliding units, particularly for wireless communication on railways. Along with this, there is provision for noise immunity and elimination of mutual interference. This is achieved due to that, the automation and wireless communication unit contains: analogue signal device (ASD), which provides for interaction of transceivers and connected external devices (CED), also meant for storing configurable parametres of the wireless station, which up switching on are loaded into the corresponding devices; power supply which powers the wireless station device and at least one transceiver meant for converting low-frequency digital and analogue information signals to radio-frequency signals and their transmission and reception. Devices, which are part of the unit, are stand-alone modules in their own cases with thermal plates, elements for connecting external devices and indication, and are mounted on a frame. The analogue signal device can combine motherboard functions, which combine functional modules. The frame contains: top and bottom surfaces, rear wall and vertical partition walls, providing for structural rigidity. The top and bottom surfaces are provided with guides for positioning and holding the functional modules, and perforations for removing heat from the functional modules. On the rear wall there is a window, which provides for access to functional modules, and there are also openings under fastening elements for fitting in additional guides and an arm with a connector for additional functional modules. The functional modules are connected to the analogue signal device by a cable with a connector. There are posts on the bottom surface. The automation and wireless unit can also have functional modules: linear channel, second transceiver, Tetra standard transceiver or duplex transceiver. The frame can also have a console type base, with shock-absorbers, attached to posts, and meant for installing the unit at the operation site.

EFFECT: provision for wireless communication on all sections of railways owing to the possibility of connecting additional transceivers of the required range to the wireless station, easier transformation of the wireless station for receiving and transmitting signals at corresponding frequencies due to that, all components of the wireless station devices are in their own housings and are stand-alone functional parts-modules.
