SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding an animal with a composition containing approximately 10-70 wt % protein, approximately 4-50 wt % fat and at least approximately 0.05 wt % at least one omega-3-polyunsaturated fatty acid. This composition is used as a medicinal preparation. The method involves feeding an animal with a composition containing: at least one omega-3-polyunsaturated fatty acid, chosen from a group comprising docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and/or a mixture of DHA and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), at least one antioxidant, chosen from a group comprising vitamin E, vitamin C, taurine and beta-carotene, and at least, one nutrient substance, chosen from a group comprising choline, thiamine, egg powder, manganese, methionine, cysteine, L-carnitine, lysine and their mixture.
EFFECT: increased ability of dressage, cognitive function, coordination of movement or agility, retinal development, cartilage protection, retention of muscle bulk and quality of skin and fur.
