FIELD: medicine; traumatology and orthopaedics.
SUBSTANCE: two facing hooks are arranged on posterior departments of the chosen vertebras from convex side. The arranged hooks form a compressing grip on the lateral rod of segmental alignment instruments. The hooks are compressed. Supplementary scoliosis alignment involves complete closure of convex part of handles.
EFFECT: higher alignment capacity and improved effectiveness of anterior and posterior vertebral stabilisation determine the most deformed vertebras within top of scoliosis in vertebrotomy.
