FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to materials for roads construction and to technology of its production and can be used in roads and airfield construction. The method of preparation of hydraulic hardening road concrete mix includes the mixing of mineral filler with dross mineral powder and bitumen component of the binder. The latter is added to the mixture of mineral filler with dross mineral powder in the amount of 6-12% in the form of the prepared beforehand bitumen emulsion containing (wt %): oil bitumen and emulsifier solution in relation 35-65 or 65-35 with following stirring of the obtained mixture. During preparation of the bitumen emulsion the dispersion machine is synchronously fed with bitumen heated up to 90-140°C and water solution of emulsifier with density β=1.08-1.40 g/cm3 and temperature 40-80°C. After emulsion disintegration up to the drops with micron size it is supplied to the storage tank for following admission to the mixer for preparation of hydraulic hardening road concrete mix. The emulsifiers for bitumen emulsion are alkali-sodium carbonate fusion cake or sodium carbonate in the form of semiproducts or alkali waste.
EFFECT: enhancing of asphaltic concrete pavement durability and life cycle.
