SUBSTANCE: proposed method of control over washing machine comprises the steps whereat data on mode selected by the User is received and preset amount of steam is fed into the machine tank or drum, if the selected mode is a refreshing mode. The proposed washing machine comprises mode selector component designed to select refreshing mode and control unit to feed preset amount of steam into washing machine tank or drum to refresh linen, if the selected mode is a refreshing mode.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of washing, water and power savings, elimination of linen folds.
