FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pump engineering, particularly to multistage stage-chamber impeller pumps. Said pump comprises a casing composed of sections tightened with locking pins. The pump inlet and outlet are provided in the last sections. The pump stages are arranged in the medium sections and comprise a propeller and a guide wheel with diffusion canals. The relation of the inlet flow section width a of the diffusion canals to the outlet section width b is within the range 0.62÷0.82. The angle between the symmetry axis of the diffusion canal and the radius R of the guide wheel from the centre to the canal inlet is equal to 68÷84°.
EFFECT: invention allows minimising hydraulic loss and increasing pump efficiency.
