FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: impeller consists of driving and driven plates. Between the discs there located are the main blades of impeller. The main blades are structurally combined with blades of the screw. Screw blades are completely located in inlet guide vane. Ratio of impeller inlet diametre to diametre of the impeller main blade is 0.52-0.7. Ratio of width of inlet guide vane inlet ring to width of outlet slit of impeller is 1.6-2.5.
EFFECT: improving fluid dynamic properties of impeller of centrifugal pump, minimising cavitation processes taking place therein, increasing head and efficiency of the pump in which it is installed, at low inlet pressures, and improving operation of pump on gas-containing liquids.
