SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power umbilical. Power umbilical contains number of cables (5) carrying electrical current, pipes (4) and electric conductors/wires (6, 6') in bunches, filling material (10, 2, 3, 3'), located at least partially around specified pipes (4), cables (5) and conductors/wires (6, 6') and between them, protective jacket (1) containing specified pipes, cables and conductors/wires and filling material; thereat umbilical includes load-bearing elements (7), which are light rods (7) made of composite material.
EFFECT: transfer of large quantities of electric energy, fluid media and electric current/signals from sea surface to equipment located at sea bottom in particular to deep-water equipment.
