FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used to analyse both slow drift and relatively fast spasmodic shift of glaciers. The proposed system consists of supporting structure mounted on glacier and representing a supporting tubular rod, collared into ice, and tight container fitted onto aforesaid rod. This container houses storage battery unit, shifts pickup representing a navigation receiver with external aerial of the GPS/GLONASS satellite system, angular shift pickup and two-component accelerometer. Note that the output of shifts pick is connected to memory unit, while that of angular shift pickup is connected to data processing unit connected to the former. Double-integration unit is connected to accelerometer outputs and data processing unit inputs.
EFFECT: expanded performances.
