FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of physics and may be used in research of free electrons behaviour (conductivity electrons) in metals that are moving in accelerated manner, in particular under action of centripetal acceleration. Instrument comprises investigated metal disk with Z teeth that are equidistantly distributed in its edge, being connected to the axis of gyroscope rotation. Disc is installed between two stator disk plates with Z teeth, which are connected by capacitance connection to teeth of investigated metal disk, besides teeth of single stator disk plate are shifted along angle of rotation by π/Z relative to the teeth of the other stator disk plate. Investigated metal disk and both stator disk plates create differential capacitor with time-alternating parametres, which in included into composition of oscillating circuit from inductance coil with grounded middle point and adjusted capacitor. Oscillating circuit is connected to serially connected metering low-noise band amplifier, comparator, frequency divider by Z, converter of single-phase voltage into three-phase voltage and power amplifier connected to phase windings of gyroscope with grounded axis of its rotor rotation.

EFFECT: possibility to estimate surface charge on edge of fast-rotating metal disk by measurement of AC voltage excited in oscillating circuit, capacitance of which experiences periodical electrisation through influence from the side of specified disc.
