FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of analysing the shifts on or in the Earth surface with the help of interferometer intended for seismic prospecting. The claimed device is implemented structurally to allow for peculiarities of claimed method. The latter comprises measuring the surface layer shift rate along the direction of normal to the surface and along it. To detect aforesaid shifts, interferences from reference beam and that reflected from the surface are used. Maxima and minima of aforesaid interference are recorded by means of detector matrix.
