FIELD: automatic control systems.
SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions relates to diagnosing functioning of processing equipment in industrial control and monitoring systems. A device for connection with the processing equipment is used, containing a transmitter and a controller for monitoring or controlling a process and connections, a connecting block, meant for connecting the said device with the processing equipment and containing a pipe for process fluid, a vibration sensor, meant for detecting vibrations and generating a vibration signal, and a diagnosing circuit installed in the device, meant for receiving the vibration signal and generating an output signal, which characterises disturbance of operating mode or malfunction of a process element.
EFFECT: improved diagnosis of process equipment due to use of vibration sensors.
