FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to metal plastic working, namely to method and device for replacement of sets of support and working rollers in working stands of rolling mill. According to invention, certain amount of separate trolleys is provided, which move across relative to rollers axis. Separate spent sets of working rollers are transported along single connecting railway with the single locomotive into turning shop, and instead new set of working rollers is delivered from there into transfer position. Opening is arranged in front of working stand, through which dismantled set of support rollers is transported by crane into turning shop and back.
EFFECT: provides for minimisation of used equipment and coordination of rollers replacement with works schedule in turning shop.
