METHOD OF TRANSMITTING CARJACK NOTIFICATION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B60R25/10 G08B25/10

Abstract RU 2363600 C1

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle monitoring, tracking and control. Vehicle annunciators are used to determine its state, satellite global radio navigation system signals are received and current navigation parametres, i.e. vehicle coordinates and speed, are calculated. In the case of carjack, notices are generated and converted into data notices wherein codes of ID characters, current navigation parametres and those of technical state of carjacked vehicle and its assembly units and parts are entered. Data notices are transmitted via HF-carriers into dispatcher station with the help of the vehicle cellular communication terminal, or, if locked, via the primary relay module. Signals of the latter are received by the main relay modules on the other controlled vehicles and real property objects and additional relay modules concealed aboard the vehicle. Signals received at the other objects are demodulated and, in case they comply with their ID characters of the said vehicle, are written into memory. In case the primary relay module fails, the data notices are retrieved from additional relay modules to be transferred onto frequency carriers used by the primary relay module, and the signals thus obtained are transmitted to dispatcher station.

EFFECT: simplified transmission of carjack notice, higher protection of transmission line against unauthorised attacks.
