SATELLITE SAFERY AND SEARCH SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B60R25/10

Abstract RU 2349472 C1

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring, tracking and controlling ground transport vehicles (TV). The proposed system incorporates the TV subsets integrated by cellular transmission circuitry, for example GSM-circuit, response complexes and dispatcher center. The TV subset comprises a safety anti-theft system subsystem with the central control board connected to the ignition system, as well as radio beacon securely mounted on TV with its activation input connected to the first output of the central control unit, the cellular mobile communication subset connected to the switching unit allowing the exchange of signals with the safety anti-theft system subsystem central control unit and satellite navigation unit, for example GPS-receiver connected with the switching unit. The response complex comprises the mobile cellular communication terminal. The dispatching center comprises the central cellular mobile communication terminal with its inputs connected to the operator post station Additionally the subset includes a relaying unit allowing reception of signals from radio beacons of the other TV subset complexes and connected to appropriate input and output of the switching unit. The radio beacon allows initial warning about unauthorised TV use, confirming the fact of theft and TV direction finding by the aforesaid response complexes. Apart from mobile cellular communication system, noise-immune radio channels are used requiring no stationary base ground stations.

EFFECT: simpler system allowing search and tracking of TV when intruders use noise sources capable of neutralising standard mobile cellular communication and satellite navigation systems.
