FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting sunken objects, for example, nuclear submarines. Proposed method comprises dipping the traverse with load handling device from the base ship located right above the sunken object with the help of lifting gear steel wire rope, hoisting aforesaid object and locking lifted object on to the base ship. Note here that, to outwash bed soil on both sides of sunken objects, to move the object off the bed and lift it onto the water surface, an assembly of jet thrusters, oriented vertically on both sides of the sunken object is used along with load lifting device.
EFFECT: reduced labour input.
