FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: proposed splitter-explosive shell comprises natural-fragmentation shell, explosive charge and fuse. Mixed solid propellant makes the explosive charge with the following percentage ration of components, % by weight, i.e. explosive oil - 10-15, octogene - 45-65, aluminium perchlorate - 10-15, aluminium - 10-20, ballistic and technological additives make the rest. Note here that charge explosive, when blasted inside standard fragmentation cylinder No. 12 made from steel C-60, produces relative weight of fragment mean fraction 1<m≤4 g making no less than 0.40, the number of fragments with weight over 0.25 g being equal to at, least, 1450. Explosive charge can features density varying from 1.70 to 2.00 g/cm3, specific pulse of 2300 to 2600 m/s and ultimate strength of, at least, 4.5 MPa.
EFFECT: higher splitter-explosive effect.
