FIELD: fragmentation munitions.

SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a fragmentation munition comprising a natural fragmentation casing, an explosive charge and a detonating fuze. The used explosive charge is a ballistic solid rocket fuel, ensuring in case of explosion testing of a standard fission cylinder No12, made of C-60 steel and charged with said fuel, a mass ratio of the medium fraction of fragments 4≥m>1 g not less than 0.40 and a number of fragments weighted over 0.25 g no less than 1500.

EFFECT: creation of a fragmentation munition using a ballistic solid rocket fuel ensuring high-quality fission of the fragmentation casing of said munition.
