FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation and serves to pin-point components with decreased insulance. Proposed method comprises the following steps. First, probing signal is sent into the circuit. Said circuit represents a continuous periodic voltage-to-time ratio comprising alternating linearly varying AC and DC voltages. Magnetic flux rate variation difference, as-measured, allows defining the component of magnetic flux rate variation. Note that magnetic flux variation rate is measured for linearly varying range and DC voltage range. Relative duration of the said ranges is set up depending upon capacitance of connection under control and the circuit total capacitance relative to ground.
EFFECT: feeder connection effect eliminated, higher accuracy of measurements.
