FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power electrical engineering and can be used when testing powerful power transformers and autotransformers in remote, hard-to-reach places during their installation and repairs without dismantling the equipment. Essence: a mobile high-voltage installation for conducting electrical tests of power transformers is implemented in a block design and contains a control unit feeding a network transformer, a rectifier with a filtering capacitor, a static frequency converter, an adjustable matching transformer, a block of measuring transformers, a transformer under test, compensating capacitances and switches. Reactive power compensating capacitances are placed at the output of the matching transformer and form a resonant circuit with the winding of the transformer under test. In the mobile installation, a shock generator of single pulses is additionally connected with the possibility of exciting mechanical vibrations of the magnetic system of the transformer under test before and after the short-circuit experiment, as well as a high-frequency inductive-capacitive barrier filter.

EFFECT: increased excitation power, increased noise immunity and information content of the received data on the technical condition of the transformer.
