SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical engineering and can be used to create an insulation monitoring control device of DC power networks. The DC network test action is performed periodically by connection to the poles of high-precision resistor with voltage values, measured at the poles and network connections differential currents before and after each test action. The value of the resistor's resistance is adjusted according to the condition that after it's pole voltage connection with respect to the land, included in the acceptable range, and the current leakage to the ground through the resistor, does not exceed the specified permissible values.
EFFECT: invention enhances the functionality and improves the accuracy of measuring the insulation resistance, and increases flexibility.
