FIELD: medicine; pulmonology.

SUBSTANCE: by zonal pulmonary rheography, women on their first 15 weeks of pregnancy suffering chronic obstructive bronchitis, in remission period are examined for rheographic indicator of respiratory volume of superior right lung (RVr1, Ohm), rheographic indicator of respiratory volume of inferior right lung (RVr3, Ohm), average blood-filling rate of middle left lung (ABR5, Ohm/sec) and level ventilation-perfusion relation in middle left lung (VPR5, relative units). Further clinical course of chronic obstructive bronchitis in pregnancy is predicted by discriminant equation D=-32.800×RVr1+39.137×RVr3+32.060×ABR5-9.881xVPR5, where D is a discriminant function with a limit value 25.14. In case D is lower than said limit value, developing acute condition of chronic obstructive bronchitis in pregnancy is predicted, while D equal or exceeding the limit value indicates the absence of acute condition of chronic obstructive bronchitis in pregnancy.

EFFECT: possibility to predict acute condition of chronic obstructive bronchitis in pregnancy.
