FIELD: medicine; dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: evaluated dental health represents calculated sum total of its two components: physical integrity and functional full-value condition. The physical integrity component is determined as a difference of 50 and total product: number of extracted and destroyed incisors multiplied by 1.12, number of extracted and destroyed canines multiplied by 1.2, number of extracted and destroyed premolars multiplied by 1.85, number of extracted and destroyed molars multiplied by 2.04, number of extracted and destroyed eighth teeth of alignment multiplied by 1.28. The functional full-value condition component is determined as a difference of 50 and total product: total carious, filled and extracted teeth multiplied by 0.5, caries intensity level multiplied by 12.5, hygienic index multiplied by 2.1, papillary marginal alveolar index multiplied by 0.1, complex parodontal index multiplied by 1.2. Dental health 100 to 90 points inclusive is considered as high level - class I, 90 to 80 points inclusive as satisfactory - class II, 80 to 70 points inclusive as low level - class III, 70 to 60 points inclusive as very low level - class IV, 60 points and lower as unsatisfactory level - class V.

EFFECT: method allows for quantitative assessment of dental health in any age group both individually and for analysis subpopulation.
