SUBSTANCE: method for prediction of negative consequences in the oral cavity with orthodontic treatment of dentoalveolar anomalies by fixed appliance, including instrumental and microbiological examination, characterized by dental plaque biomaterial taking before the fixed appliance installation after evaluation of dental status indicators and the quantitative content of oral streptococcus S. mutans and S. Sanguis is determined in CFU/g, if both types of streptococci are detected in the biotope or separately with the contents of 10⁴ and more CFU/g in the dental plaque, CEI index of more than 1.9 and Green-Wermillion index of more than 1.4, negative consequences are predicted in the oral cavity, represented by carious activity during treatment.

EFFECT: possibility to predict and, accordingly, prevent negative consequences during orthodontic treatment of dentoalveolar anomalies by fixed appliance in the form of dental caries.
