FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: sclera is illuminated that is combined with spectral analysis of echo signal. Illumination is provided by a light source with radiation spectrum close to that of daylight with beam angle 45° to surface of sclera region. Before analysis, sclera region is photographed, and the analysis represents quantitative evaluation of sclera colour by means of program image processing in comparison with a calibration paper that allows determining spectral distribution of sclera region. The calibration involves establishment of the maximum value of basic colours RGB. In case blue colour prevails in colour spectrum over yellow and purple by 20% and more, undifferentiated dysplasia is considered to be observed.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of undifferentiated dysplasia diagnostics.
