FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of colour measurement and relates to a method for digital colourimetry of images. Method involves RGB analysis of an image of a sample of the measured colour obtained using optical radiation. Three wavelengths are selected using a monochromator from the entire spectrum of optical radiation and successively passed through a sample of the measured colour. RGB analysis is carried out using a smartphone camera and a Color Meter application in real time.

EFFECT: simplification and acceleration of the method of digital colourimetry of images.
