FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive branch boxes. Proposed branch box consists of crankcase (1, 2), primary shaft (4) and secondary shaft (7). Friction coupling (8) rigidly fixed with aforesaid primary shaft takes torque off the said primary shaft and transmits it via transfer mechanism (18, 19, 22) to secondary shaft (7). Oil pan (30) embraces partially inclined rings (25, 26) and is arranged in crankcase (1, 2), between coupling (8) and transfer mechanism (18, 19), to feed sufficient amount of lubrication. Bottom (31) of oil pan (30) has one hole (40) adjoining upper outer edges of inclined rings (25, 26). Oil pan (30) has one guiding device (36, 36*) to pass into feed zone of transfer mechanism (18, 19) for lubricant to be forced by centrifugal force into pan (30).
EFFECT: reliable and sufficient lubrication.
