FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: drive box comprises crankcase forming a chamber for accommodating oil-lubricated rotating elements, tubular coupling connected to the rotating elements and configured to rotate the shaft, as well as means of collecting oil for lubricating rotating elements and delivering oil by flowing to the splines for the purpose of lubrication. Coupling contains splines configured to interact with the return splines of the shaft. Drive box is designed to allow oil to flow down the internal sump wall during operation of the gas turbine engine. Collection and delivery means comprise guide member that extends within the coupling and groove configured to deliver oil flowing along the inner sump wall to the guide element. Guide element and groove are installed on the crankcase side or integral with it. Crankcase side forms an internal oil sump wall, serves as a support for the friction bearing of the coupling, and comprises a radial opening allowing oil flowing down the inner sump wall to flow to the guide element. Another invention of the group relates to a gas turbine engine comprising the above drive box.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows to provide continuous oil greasing of splines of a coupling of a drive box, and also to reduce the sizes of the latter.
