METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF EFFICIENCY OF DISINFECTANTS USED IN TB FACILITIES Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC C12Q1/22

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns microbiology, sanitary hygiene. Mycobacteria culture suspensions are prepared and followed with mycobacteria contamination of test objects thereafter processed in a tested disinfectant to be then neutralised on test objects after specified disinfectant exposition on mycobacteria contaminated test objects. Then the neutralised test objects are incubated in a solid nutrient medium in a thermostat to consider and analyse experimental data. The test culture is Mycobacterium avium and Mycobacterium terrae, or strains of specified TB facilities (prevention and treatment facility). Disinfection quality level is determined by the absence of colony growth within 3-5-7-10-14 days (depending on a type) of cultivation.

EFFECT: invention allows improving and accelerating quality control of disinfectant performance in TB clinics and TB medical facilities.
