FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to internal combustion engines with liquid cooling and is intended for stable maintenance of their normal condition. Liquid system of internal combustion engine cooling comprising cylinder block cooling jacket, block head cooling jacket, regular thermostat, radiator, hydraulic pump, pipelines, thermometre, according to invention, it is equipped with additional thermostat, which together with standard thermostat sends coolant (water, antifreeze, tosol) along hydraulic circuit: block head cooling jacket - standard thermostat - hydraulic pump - additional thermostat - additional pipeline - lower level in cylinder block cooling jacket, therefore providing mass and heat exchange between different levels of engine located at different distances from axis of crankshaft rotation and additional thermometre, which registers temperature in lower level of cylinder block cooling jacket and provides the possibility together with standard thermometre to objectively assess thermal condition of engine.
EFFECT: improved design of cooling system, elimination of water boiling in radiator at high temperatures of ambient air.
